Continuous Refrigeration Chain

Continuous Refrigeration Chain

The "Continuous Refrigeration Chain" (CRC) is the use of special technological processes and technical means in the storage, preparation and delivery of perishable goods. The continuous refrigeration chain is organised from the moment of production of goods until the moment of their sale.

Transportation of perishable products, their storage is organised in accordance with such parameters as temperature and humidity of the medium, storage duration, microcirculation of air.

Continuous Refrigeration Chain Organisation Elements

  • Stationary refrigeration plants, which can be of a procurement, production, distribution, transshipment or sales types.
  • Refrigerated and isothermal vehicles that are used in sea and river, motorway, rail and air transportation.
  • Auxiliary means: stations for washing pastures and cleaning vehicles, disinfection of equipment, as well as refrigerated depots.
