Routes of Railway and Multimodal Container Services

In order to preserve and attract the volume of container transportation in transit traffic, new logistics solutions and routes have been proposed.

In particular, work has been carried out to increase the volume of transportation from China to the Russian Federation (stations of the Moscow railway hub). In 6 months of 2023, 1,497 container trains were handled in this connection (a 2.4 times’ increase).

The container train service was organized departing from Belarus to China with fertilizer cargo and in the return China to Belarus traffic containers with collected goods to the Zhodino and Kolyadichi station. For the period from January to June 2023, 659 container trains were handled (in 6 months 2022 – 105 trains were handled).
