Improving the quality and efficiency of international transportation of goods that require maintaining temperature conditions along the entire route leads to the development and implementation of advanced technical, technological and logistics solutions in the field of transportation of perishable food products and the consolidation of participants in the continuous refrigeration chain.
For these purposes, in 2005, the Association of Food Sector Organisations (ASORPS) which includes 29 organisations was established. 15 organizations participating in the continuous refrigeration chain are partners of ASORPS. Starting from 2018, ASORPS has been a member of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) and the leader of the CCTT ‘ColdChain’ project.
